I rode drill as a youth and did lots of horsey things through the generosity of my parents.

After a 30 year break, I started trail riding about 10 years ago.  After begging, borrowing and leasing several horses, I bought Callie on 12/08. She has become a darn good trail horse--safe enough for my husband, Jack and fast enough for me. In 12/09 along came horse #2-Otis. Otis and I are just getting our legs under us as a team.  He is a remarkably handsome and well trained fellow and quite a thrill to ride. Both are Morgans

I am loving drill because the partnership between the horse and rider, and the camaraderie among the team and the thrill of doing a difficult thing well is a great achievement.
