Horse:  I have a wonderful Morgan horse named Bridger and paint horse name Patches. Bridger is 26 years old and this will be his 10th year in drill team. He enjoys trail rides and playing in the water. Bridger came from Whidbey Island and got him when I was about 5 or 6. Patches is 21 and he's a big boy that loves drill. He has been a drill horse for 9 years and has taken care of many High Valley Riders in the arena. I got him from my good friend and teammate Sandie.

I have two, wonderful, supportive parents. My mom is the teams choreographer and my dad is the team drill coach. It's a family thing. I also have two older, great brothers, Cory and Chris, and one older, awesome sister named Chelsea. My Nieces Clariss and Cailey are too young to ride but as soon as  they are old enough Aunt Jayme will teach them

When I was about 6 or 7, I saw my mom on Bridger doing drill and I was surprised how drill worked. Bridger was very good, but first he didn't' like it. I rode Bridger in some gaming, and we liked to do barrels and poles. My Dad started coaching the team after the first year of my mom rode. Then, when I was about 10 or 11, my mom gave me Bridger to do drill. I was so excited! Finally, I can do drill with the perfect horse and ever since its been us together. This will be our 6rd year together and we love it. We are perfect partners. We both can memorize the drill fast. He will just ride it. I could sit back and let him do it.

I enjoy the fun part of drill. The girls are just so great. They are full of Laughter and Fun. I also enjoy it because it will teach you different things like riding with one hand and keeping your hand down on your leg. It's also good for your horse and the rider because they experience new things.
